Short Term Rental Survey: Assumptions

For the purpose of this survey on short term rentals, please assume:

  • Long term (over three month) leases are allowed. [CC&Rs Section 3.1]
  • Guest parking must be within property; overnight parking on any road is prohibited. [CC&Rs Section 5.13]
  • Advertising signs are prohibited. [CC&Rs Section 5.18] Therefore, walk-up or drive-up rentals are not allowed.
  • “nuisance, obnoxious or offensive activities” are prohibited. [CC&Rs Section 5.9 (a) ]
  • Exterior speakers, “boom boxes”, etc. are prohibited.  [CC&Rs Section 5.9 (b) ]
  • Exterior lighting must be controlled. [CC&Rs Section 5.9 (c) ]
